We also seek to address differences between people to increase the participation and contribution of all employees through fair treatment, equal access to opportunity, conflict resolution, representation of diversity at all levels of the organization, inclusive leadership and leadership’s commitment to diversity. We strive to embed diversity and inclusion in all relevant people processes. These principles are highlighted in our People Policy, which was updated in 2021.
Furthermore, discrimination, harassment (sexual nor non-sexual), intimidation, oppression, exploitation and physically or mentally unsafe working conditions are always unacceptable and not tolerated at Neste.
Promoting equality and diversity in recruitment
The principles followed by Neste in its recruitment form part of the company’s management system, and are followed in all the countries where Neste operates in accordance with local legislation.
We act in such a way that job vacancies attract applicants from a diverse pool of candidates. We recruit personnel based on their experience, expertise, skills, and values through structured process and job criteria guaranteeing that all applicants have equal opportunities and treatment during the recruitment process. Recruitment is also used to promote diversity across the company.
